JFK Airport Terminals

The rectangular Iberia John F Kennedy international airport is connected with I-678 and JFK Expressway and is merging on all ends to the 5 terminals through a spaghetti junction. 

While Terminals 3 and 6 were long ago dismantled to make way for expansion projects. Terminal 2 was closed as a result of Delta’s expansion into Terminal 4.   • Terminal 7 – Ten gates and three zones comprise Terminal 7.  Check-in counters and the security checkpoint are located on the departure level.  The concourse level features a food court, restaurants, the British Airways Concorde Lounge, pet relief facilities, and departure gates.
  • Terminal 8 – Terminal 8 has 30 gates and 2 areas. The security checkpoint that leads onto Concourse B is located on the departure level, along with check-in counters and an airline lounge.  Concourse B and Concourse C are connected via an underground passageway with moving walkways. Both concourses include stores, bars, and restaurants in addition to the Admirals Club lounge on Concourse C.

Security and Customs at JFK

How to access JFK airport Transportation?

  • Train – The Long Island Rail Road and the New York City Subway are connected to JFK Airport by the AirTrain JFK.   • Long-term parking lot 9 – The main terminal building offers long-term parking.  The fee for the first 24 hours is 18 USD, and 6 USD for each subsequent 8 hours.
