    My hard drive was defective since the day I purchased the laptop. The boot time was taking so much time and I have fresh installed the operating system but the issue was still there. I performed a hardware test and the problem with it was sometimes it shows that the hard drive has a problem and other times it does not. I had to call the viewsonic technical support phone number twice on different instances so that I could get hold of them when the error pops up and give them the exact code details about the issue. the viewsonic technical support quickly identified the error and after verifying a few things, they send me a new harddrive with the operating system pre installed. I am very happy with the service I got from the technical support.
