Is it worth purchasing Choice Home Warranty?

We had Choice a couple of years before needing service. The thermostat on the dryer went out. We called and 2 men came out, completely dismantled the dryer by removing the drum and when it dries clothes it make a horrible clanking sound. The men came back, did the same thing again – removing the drum, and said it was fixed. NOT – it clanks and clanks when drying – so those repairmen destroyed my dryer but I just cannot afford to buy a new one and have to listen to the noise. Then my microwave ( only a few years old) went out and repairman stated it could not be fixed. Choice stated that I would be paid 125.00 – where can you get a Gallery Microwave for 125.00. The lady told me that when they looked on line, that was price of one like the one I had. NOT!! It cost me 350.00 for a replacement as it was a Gallery Series and all my appliances were Gallery. When I stated in the policy I would get a replacement, she told me to turn to the limitations page where all the exceptions were listed. I am canceling – the policy is worthless!!!

I am having the same exact problem. I have a 350.00 microwave and only giving us 191. to only Lowes and I also have to pay for installation. I requested a agent to call and it will be a week before anyone can get back to us. The service tech was 1 1/2 hours late. When we called to follow up they said they could not reach any one which was a lie. This was my first experience with this company from another and totally horrible.
